Capri: folk music with Scialapopolo for the US Independence Day

Capri is celebrating the American Independence Day this evening with a show by the local folk band “Scialapopolo”. A parade along the narrow streets of the historic center of Capri that will start at 19.30 this evening from via le Botteghe, to thin out in the main arteries of the historic center on via Fuorlovado, via Camerelle, Piazzetta Quisisana and via Vittorio Emanuele to end with a concert in Piazzetta at 20.00. The show is a tribute to the stars and stripes guests of the island, the most loyal holiday community in Capri since World War II. An anniversary that has always been deeply felt by Americans, who usually celebrate it in any corner of the globe. The event was organized and sponsored by the City of Capri.
